Our Founding Partner, Berceste Elif Duranay, participated as a speaker, representing the Energy Disputes Arbitration Center (EDAC), at the Mining Law Congress organized for the first time by the Energy Law Research Institute on 17 April 2026 in Ankara.

In her presentation titled “Investment Arbitration in Mining in the Shadow of the Energy Transition,” she addressed the balance between states’ right to regulate and investor protection, investors’ legitimate expectations, and the increasing number of disputes concerning critical minerals in recent years.
